Habit 3: First Things First (7 Habits by Stephen Covey)

We've learned about becoming proactive.
We now have vision for our life. And missions.
Now how do we gonna do our mission goodly?

Habit 3: First Things First gives us the easiest way to have a balanced life--and we can still keep doing our mission too. In the book Covey has made four quadrants of time management. Let's take a look at them all.

Quadrant 1: Urgent and Important
-homework needs to be done tomorrow
-this blog post (hehe kidding)

Quadrant 3: Urgent and Unimportant
-(If today is November/December) Mockingjay Part One premiere
-hanging out with friends all day long

Quadrant 4: Not Urgent and Unimportant
-reading Twitter's timeline (and keep scrolling it)
-LINE-ing with your crush (eh)
-watching tv all night long

Ok that's all the four time quadrants. Have you recognized the difference and similarities
What? I haven't written quadrant 2?? (sorry for being a bit cheesy haha) I'm about to write it later.
Basically these three quadrants (1,3,4) are the ones most people got trapped in the moost.
While you guys might have known the differences between the three, let me tell you the similarity: They are not the most effective quadrant. They even are not effective at all.

Time management is actually not how we manage time wisely, but it's more of how we manage ourselves. We gotta put discipline into what we do. Here's how it works: Organize and prioritize.

Quadrant 2 provides it all. Quadrant 2: Not Urgent and Important.
Quadrant 2 takes our initiative, proactivity to organize and prioritize things. The clue is: if we can do something, repeatedly, it will eventually change our life better, what would it be?

So, well, if you are in quadrant 1 3 or 4, let's move on to quadrant 2. And to those who have been in quadrant 2: keep it up!

Passion for Exellence! :)
